Nickless Family Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to the university that the student is transferring to after leaving Delta College. This scholarship will be awarded to two students. Each scholarship recipient will receive $6,000 to the university they are attending after leaving Delta College. The scholarship will be for $3,000 for fall semester and $3,000 for winter semester.
Student must meet the following requirements to apply:
1) Have earned at least 58 credits at Delta College between December 2024 – August 2025 OR graduated from Delta College between December 2024 – August 2025;
2) Be transferring to a university or college in the State of Michigan;
3) Have a 3.0 grade point average or higher (in some circumstances, students who have lower than a 3.0 grade point average may be given consideration; these students should explain in their application why their grade point average is below a 3.0);
4) Must maintain full-time enrollment at a four-year university during their scholarship year. Full-time enrollment is defined as 12 credit hours per semester;
5) Do not have to demonstrate financial need;
6) Students must request and have two reference letters submitted by the application deadline.
Important Note about Applying: Applicants should give their reference people at least 5 working days to submit their reference; otherwise, if your reference letters are not in by the deadline, your application will not be complete.
Note: Preference will be given to students who have graduated from Delta College between December 2024 – August 2025.
