Our Opportunities
The general scholarship timeline for the 2027-2028 academic year is CURRENTLY CLOSED. The following are the application dates for the 2027-2028 academic year for scholarships that can be used for Fall 2027 and Winter 2028:
AUGUST 17, 2026 through SEPTEMBER 30, 2026 – APPLICATION DATES FOR TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP
Have you thought about traveling and studying abroad as part of your Delta College experience? If so, these travel scholarships for Delta students are intended for a broad range of activities leading to better knowledge of foreign languages and of the country’s people and cultures. Travel could include organized college trips or individual trips that align with your academic goals. For more information, review the travel scholarship qualifications and/or contact Christine Yaroch at christineyaroch@delta.edu or Chris DeEulis at christopherdeeulis@delta.edu.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2026 through NOVEMBER 16, 2026 – APPLICATION DATES FOR THE PRESIDENT’S HONORS SCHOLARSHIP
This is an academic-based scholarship for seniors graduating from a high school in Bay, Midland or Saginaw County in 2027. Applicants must be a resident of Bay, Midland or Saginaw County, have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and plan to earn a transfer degree or an occupational degree in two years.
DECEMBER 2, 2026 through FEBRUARY 3, 2027 – APPLICATION DATES FOR ALL OTHER GENERAL SCHOLARSHIPS, WHICH INCLUDE THE POSSIBLE DREAM SCHOLARSHIP AND THE NICKLESS FAMILY TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP
These scholarships must be used while attending Delta College (with the exception of the Nickless Family Transfer Scholarship). If you transfer to another college or university, the scholarship dollars will not transfer with you. High school students who will be dual enrolled during the scholarship award year are not eligible to receive Delta College scholarships. The majority of our scholarships are worth $1,250 ($625 for fall semester and $625 for winter semester). Scholarships are based on the number of credits you are enrolled in per semester. For full time enrollment, 12+ credits, you will receive the full scholarship amount. If you are enrolled in 6-11 credits, your scholarship will be prorated and you will receive ¾ of the scholarship.
Delta College only awards one scholarship per person per academic year.
